Sometimes life is hard.  Really hard.  And the best advice falls flat because it all sounds great in theory but it doesn’t seem to resonate.  Sometimes you want to see the light at the end of that proverbial tunnel, and you’re straining to see it but it’s just not visible.

You are willing to do what you need to do to improve, grow, change, but what does that even mean? What IS the step you need to take?

It is hopeless.  It’s scary.  It’s dark.  All there is, is this tiny little meaningless dot.  How does that help?

More than you can imagine my friend….  Listen…

Gold Goals & God

Goals… Goals… #Goals

Seen it heard it been there done that.  And yet… some are met some aren’t.  Many aren’t.  Sometimes the problem is identifying what the goals actually are.
Sometimes the end-goal is defined, but the path to getting there is elusive or seems to just not exist.

Too many obstacles.  Too many circumstances standing in the way.

You aren’t alive to drag through the days toward death.  We’re all gonna die, but we don’t have to die with unrealized potential and undone dreams.

God gave you a purpose.  It’s the truth, it’s real, it’s solid.

Figure out what it is – develop your goals and decide what you’re chasing…. is it the gold?

Listen as Laurette and Mellisa discuss chasing goals, understanding God’s influence in your potential and improving your rate of success.

Someone has disappointed you.  Betrayed you. Hurt you.

You know that you cannot control others, but the reality is that their actions affect you; sometimes negatively.

You realize all you can control is your reaction.  But how can you not feel angry? Hurt? Worried? Sad?

How can they do this to you?

Don’t they see what they are doing?

But is that YOUR story?

Who is the hero in your story?

Things could not be worse.   Nobody gets it.  You can’t just make it better.

You are stuck. You have been through Hell.  It’s not like everyone thinks.

It’s too deep.  They don’t understand.

Bills are piling up.  You’re in great trouble.

You’re sick.  Someone close to you is sick, in trouble.

The walls are closing in.

You’ve been betrayed. Abused. Neglected.

It’s worse than anyone can know.

But did you die?

Listen… and Welcome to the conversation…

Belief in God is sometimes conditional.  If bad things happen, people decide not to believe.  Or if good things happen, we don’t want to attribute that to a force outside of ourselves.

Believers are sometimes seen as foolish by an academia crowd and intellectuals choose to either not believe or avoid vocalizing their beliefs because it seems to defy intelligence to believe there is an all powerful man living in the sky casting judgement.

Do I believe there is a God? No.  But I do absolutely believe in God.  And I think you do too.  Listen… and Welcome to the conversation..
